Game Results 2011-07-31 SUN – Smart Begins with Careful

At 09:26 we started with an approximate count of 9 on 8.  It was impossible to say, who was stronger upfront.  Within minutes Max, Grisha Rom. and Pawel K. brought total count to an equal 10 on 10.

Many more people arrived 5-10 minutes late today .  They had to play in a second and even in a third overflow games.  Can you believe it – 3 games today.

WHITEs had Nelson, Max and Juan.   DARKs assembled Ziya, Zhenia V. and Alex Z.

Ziya scored 2 fantastic goals, both assisted by Zhenia V.  Memorable second goal after ball hits the post and Ziya scores on the fly, while in the air.

Goal scored by Vlad T. was not recorded, but was confirmed by several independent sources.  Bobby also scored a “looker”after individual trickery in the box.

At 09:50 score returned to equilibrium – 2:2.       And the destiny of the game was up for grabs.  Who will prevail?

At 10:14 WHITEs created a 2 point lead – 4:2.

Early in the game Yura D. felt a pulled muscle in the neck area (pain in the neck), and he knew it was time to go.  Instead he returned back, and became an unexpected extra layer of protection in defense.  Only at 10:35 – more than an hour into the game – Yura D. finally decides to leave, but not before WHITEs already created some comfortable lead – 6:3 (Nelson).

The bottom of the “bell curve” was reached at 10:39, when WHITEs had a 4 point lead – 7:3.  From that point on DARKs tried to catch up, and WHITEs tried to preserve the lead.

At 10:43 DARKs started their scary series with Grisha – Lyonya – Grisha combination – 7:4.   Fresh Lesha K. entered for WHITEs at this point to replace departed Yura D. and Bobby.

At 10:48 Alex Z. supplied Lyonia G. with a sure pass.  Lyonya scored with his ample bosom.  Must be a painful experience – 7:5.

At 10:53 Alex Grt stops the ball with a shoulder in the box, and  Ziya scores a razor-sharp penalty on Igor Sh. – 8:6.

It was a terrifying  experience, when Dima B. scored a goal (10:57) after confusion between Juan (defender) and a goalkeeper.  DARKs are now within one point to tie – 8:7.

Here we have to gave a deserved  credit to Zhenia D.   After 100 minutes of sun drenched frying and playing the legs are barely moving.  There is no one, who can even think straight.  And exactly here at this point 2 well-calculated goals are not an easy feat.  It was all over at 11:03.
