2019-08-28 WE – Preparing for fourth AT trip this year

Day zero summary: wake up in Windsor, CT.  Celebratory lunch with Deirdre in Simsbury, CT.  Work till 3 PM in Bloomfield CT, drive back to Boston. 

Around 15:50 stop on 84 rest area to perform some update SQL(s) for Ashutosh and Richard.

Celebratory dinner with Lira at Bertucci’s.  Lira picked up the check on that occasion ($55- coupon + tips = $55)

I brought an excessively sweet coffee cake with me from Connecticut, and Lira though she might partake while I am gone, but at the end she didn’t.  I would finish it one slice at a time over next couple of weeks.

Weather forecast promised a warm and dry conditions – warm during the day and not too cold at night.

Packing the backpack is down to science this time.  Everything knows its place, and I only need to refill fuel, meals, trail mix, sugar, matches, recharge camera and batteries, bike lights.
