We did it! I think we found a perfect “soccer haven”, and the switch was surprisingly painless. Good job you guys – very organized!
Out of 20 people only one (Lenia Ch.) didn’t find his way to a new field. We missed him today, and hope to see him tomorrow. Other 19 eventually trickle down from all different directions, and we had a wonderful game 10 on 9.
It was a very clean game. For the first time in weeks cleats were happy too. If anything, they were the happiest. That is where rubber meet the green plastic grass.
On a more serious note, DARKs recruited Vova M. from 09:58 till 10:40 (42 minutes). In that time they changed their fortune from 3:1 to 3:6.
From 10:40 till the end of the game 11:18 (38 minutes) Vova played for WHITEs. In that time-frame WHITEs moved from 3:6 to 7:12.
From these numbers we can conclude, where Vova M. found a better fit, and which team was more accommodating for his multiple talents.
WHITEs had a real chance to turn the game around at 5:7 and 6:8. It seemed that DARKs are doomed with only 2 goals as cushion. But spectacular goals from Kolya P. simply ruined all their plans.
Lost and Found: Bobby picked the wrong black pullover. As a result, Lyonya G. went home cold and sweater-less and Bobby’s black jacket will travel with Alex for now.
