Game Results 2011-02-26 SAT — What is Fair in an Uneven World?

DARKs played down 4 on 5 for the first 55 minutes of the game (from 10:58 to 11:03). They were winning 5:2 and full of enthusiasm.  Then, exhausted and tired, they played 4 on 4 for the remaining 52 minutes (from 11:03 to 11:55) and lost 1:5.  How can we make a fair adjustments for uneven game time?  How indeed.

Show receded considerably. A huge green areas are now available for the game, and today we took advantage of that.  We quickly cleared a normal size rectangle, and for the first time we played unobstructed and without any boundaries.  It was wonderful.  That is how the game was intended.

Tomorrow a 1 to 3″ of snow will cover the field again, but SUNDAY game is firmly ON. Tomorrow it will be a real game with a real goals after a brief clean up.  Garbage dumps all over Massachusetts are looking envious at a great old dump at Skyline in anticipation of the game.

The pass was the king in today’s game. Creative links between Lesha K. to Kevin to Alfred were finding their way to the back of the net close to 70% of the times.  Although Serezha did not require the finesse of the pass to score, he supplied several passes ending in goals.

We are glad to see Marat back.   He is a rare guest.  At 11:03 Lesha Zh. left, and Marat switched the teams.  Now WHITEs had try to save themselves.  It was an arduous path from 2:5 to 4:6 and from there all the way to 7:6.

Today, let’s look at the Win / Loss indicator upside down.  Let’s see who will fight tomorrow the  hardest to escape from the depth of the pit:

Also, we can look at a memorable moment from 2 weeks ago, when the winter was strong yet:

Our Yahoo group now have 90 unique members.  6 people have registered twice:  Amr,  Erick,  Georgi,  Lenia G.,  Misha F. and   Vadim L.

Several people registered, when the membership was open to the public, but never actually played the game.  It means our reach is far and beyond the soccer field.

Also, there are three members, whom I can’t identify, and we will have to decide what to do with those:
