Dell Latitude 7640 half year review:
– large 16″ screen, full keyboard, oversized mouse pad that need to be disabled when using external mouse,
– Basic Support for 3 years from ship date is included,
– laptop has arrived 2024-07-18 directly from Dell,
– Windows 11 – can’t move the start bar to the side,
– Wi-Fi is more sensitive and requires a stronger Wi-Fi signal where older laptops connected just fine
– shutting down – laptop is never in a deep sleep, it wakes up instantly from the smallest touch,
– battery life – so far, no issues – very good,
– Word recent documents reset (see an article here),
– activating legacy Windows Photo Viewer (merge a REG file)
