Game Results 2011-03-12 SAT – Late, Late Surprise plus Daylight is Here

Attention! We will start at tomorrow 09:00 to beat the kids to the punch.

We started at 09:35 and in 4 minutes Matt and Stas made the score 2:0 for WHITEs.

In the next 7 minutes score became 2:4 for DARKs after a series of goals from Cüneyt, Clive, Vlad T. (pass from Lenia Ch.) and Dr. Yurik.

At 10:17 a quick counter goal from goalkeeper Alfred to Sasha L. was disallowed on technicality – Dima B. was searching for a ball on the outskirts of the filed.

But tide of the game turned again and by 11:03 WHITEs were ahead one more time 9:6.  Many people, who left by this point will be surprised to learn that game didn’t end here.

In a very dramatic fashion Cüneyt scored 3 beautiful goals in row, making it 9:9 (11:15).  But it didn’t end there.  Vadim L. drives  the nail into the coffin with a “one-toucher” from the left (11:24).  Matt was trying to stop it, but ball went in anyway.  4 (four) times in the game, lady luck was changing positions, not sure whom to pick.

As you can see WHITEs had a huge advantage, but as it often happens – didn’t realize it:

We’ve got a new leader at the top of a WIN/LOSS indicator.  As you can see 2 points for win and only -1 point for loss is advantageous for our regular players.
