After 3 nights and 4 days trip to Maine Northern Woods I would need to repair:
— bike from gear shift – it is too noisy and will not switch from 2nd to the 1st

— There were a lot of mosquitoes due to frequent rains in May and June. The first night and the next morning I had to camp and hike in the mask till 8AM. I placed a small towel on my back, where backpack straps pressing down on the shirt and mosquitoes have a chance to bite. So not, they found the place to attack through the material of cotton t-shirt and hiking shirt all around the waistline. Also, the bands of skin between the socks and the pants got a lot of bites. Lesson – one should wear taller socks.
— carrying Sig Sauer P365 with my all the miles of the way. No threats as usual, but the remote Debsconeag trails were covered with bear bang and paws prints, so I felt great carrying these extra pounds on my belt.
— setting camp under the heavy rain was a good and rewarding learning experience, especially so, because the rain suddenly stopped and the sun came out momentarily. I am using a standard original rainfly that came with the hammock and still the results were good, and I slept in a dry cocoon.
— total hike calculates to 36.01 mi although a small section of the hike went unrecorded on the first day. Total bike riding miles came out to 31.35. The whole trip was 67.36 mi in 4 days and 3 nights.
— With Google My Maps (https://www.google.com/maps) one can export a GPX file out of your preferred GPS app and then import into Google map to explore on a large computer screen and share online.
